Pima County issued the following announcement on July 25.
We've all had trouble getting into work ... some days more than others. Because of the stormwater flow across Snyder Hill Rd., our Regional Wastewater staff has been shuttled in and out of the Avra Valley Wastewater Reclamation Facility for the past week via dump truck. Until today, when even our truck couldn't get around this stranded pickup truck blocking the road.
Remember, if you can't see the road due to all that standing water, turn around and be safe!
