Oro Valley Park and Recreation recently issued the following announcement.
On Saturday, July 24, 2021, the Oro Valley Sports Alliance in collaboration with the Oro Valley Parks and Recreation Department will host the 2021 edition of the Put Me in Coach event. The event will be held at Naranja Park between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
Representatives from a wide range of local youth sports organizations will be present and will have information regarding the youth sports and fitness programs that will be available this fall to the residents of Oro Valley and northwest Tucson. The event is free, and families can drop at any time between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
It is anticipated that organizations that sponsor youth football, lacrosse, baseball, soccer, swimming, cheerleading, mountain bicycling, and other sports programs will be present.
“This is a great opportunity for families new to the area to learn about the great programs that will be available to them this fall and winter” notes Fred Narcaroti, President of the Oro Valley Sports Alliance. “We are fortunate to have a partner like the Oro Valley Parks and Recreation Department to work with. There are great programs in our community and Put-Me-In-Coach is a great place to learn about the details.”
