There were 292 Latino students enrolled in Ajo Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.4% less than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Ajo Unified District welcomed 402 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Latino students comprised 72.6% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Among the two schools in Ajo Unified District, Ajo Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of Latino students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 190 students.
