Of the 1,035,063 people living in Pima County, Arizona in 2021, 50.6% (523,344) were women and 49.4% (511,719) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by North Pima News.

Data showed the average age for women in Pima County in 2021 was 40 years, on par with the national average of 40 for women.

According to census data, despite women being more prevalent in Pima County during 2021, men aged 18 and over outnumbered women in the same age group by 1,137. Meanwhile, in the 65 and over group, there were 93,704 men and 111,264 women.
