How many students were enrolled in Ajo Unified District schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 402 students enrolled in Ajo Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.7% less than the 409 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.2% of them were boys, and 46.8% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were Latino, representing 72.6% of the Ajo Unified District total enrollment.

Ajo Unified District roughly covers schools within Pima County and has a main office in Ajo.

Among the two schools in Ajo Unified District, Ajo Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 268 students in the 2022-23 school year.
