It was recently reported by the New York Times that Maricopa County experienced glitches on election day at about 20% of their voting locations, causing some people to believe there was election tampering occurring.

The Times report said that the malfunctions impacted multiple machines and significantly impacted about 17,000 ballots in the county. This resulted in concerns about the fairness and accuracy of the election process and led to fraud accusations.

“You know what’s infuriating about this clip?,” said political influencer Rogan O’Handley on Twitter. “All it takes is a few felons to rig an entire statewide election And they did it so blatantly on camera They never thought anyone would fight the fraud in court & obtain these videos Thankfully @KariLake is holding them accountable.”

The Associated Press News reported that the newly released video that showed election officials illegally conducting “secret” tests on the equipment last November in the midterm elections is false. They say that the video comes from the live broadcast of the election from the county, and involves installing memory cards days before the election.

According to the Guardian, Kari Lake unsuccessfully tried to prove the voting fraud in court. Lake is a former candidate for governor, where she lost to Gov. Katie Hobbs. Her legal team argued against the imposition of sanctions, the report said. Lake believes her electoral outcome was due to fraud. Former Congressional candidate agreed with Lake.

“It's quite hilarious that everything is coming out AFTER the trial," Richard Welch, former congressional candidate, tweeted in reference to the recently surfaced video. "Why wasn't this available beforehand? @KariLakeWarRoom @KariLake would've gotten a different verdict.”

The county government responded, according to the AP, disputing that it was secret. The office tweeted, “If it was a secret, why did we live stream it? That’s the opposite of a secret.”

Election expert John Fortier of the American Enterprise Institute recently wrote: “It is pretty clear that whatever is being done here is not in secret. Whatever the election workers were doing, which I cannot independently confirm, they knew it was on video.”
