PCSD supported the Tucson Police Department by taking the lead in an officer-involved shooting investigation.

PCSD assisted the Arizona Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol with the significant HAZMAT incident and fatal collision that impacted I10 and the surrounding area for an extended period.

Today, regional police officers, including agencies from Sahuarita PD, U of A PD, Nogales PD, Oro Valley PD, and our new Deputy Sheriffs graduated from PCSD's Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy.

Responding right by our side to aid in these critical events are our Sheriff’s Auxiliary Volunteers (SAVs). We cannot thank you enough for volunteering countless hours and dedication to supporting our efforts.

These partnerships have been invaluable in better serving the citizens of Pima County and Southern Arizona.
