Matagi Sorensen (Yavapai-Apache) is a contemporary fine-art jeweler. As a recent graduate of the MFA program at Arizona State University, he enjoyed the freedom there to experiment with different materials and techniques.

"I fondly remember waking up outdoors when I was young, and seeing the morning frost glistening on the plants. This pendant, with small diamond settings, is meant to recreate this memory." --Matagi Sorensen
