Join the Town of Oro Valley as we kick off 2023 with the ninth annual Cocoa 5k run/walk on Sunday, January 1! The race will take place along the multi-use path, beginning at Steam Pump Ranch, and will include snacks, water and of course, hot cocoa. This is a professionally-timed race, and prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winners and five-year age group categories. It's a fun way to start your New Year's resolutions with the entire family.
All entrants will receive a drawstring bag with a race logo.
Children 12 and under race for free with paying adult. Proceeds will benefit Oro Valley’s Round Up for Youth Recreation Scholarship Program.
New for 2023: Chip timing provided by Roadrunner Race Timing
Packet pickup will be at Fleet Feet Oro Valley (7607 N Oracle Rd #121, Oro Valley, AZ 85704) on Saturday, December 31, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Race day number pickup and registration will be available starting at 9:30 a.m. at Steam Pump Ranch.
