Halloween Spooktacular event returns to Oro Valley

ou’ll find no tricks, only treats at the Oro Valley Halloween Spooktacular! The family-friendly event is back at the Oro Valley Community and Recreation Center (10555 N. La Cañada Drive) on Saturday, October 29, from 5-8 p.m.

The Spooktacular will feature Halloween games, crafts and a trick-or-treat lane hosted by local businesses giving away candy! A DJ will keep the beats going as kids have fun as their favorite costumed characters. Event and candy are free. Food and beverages (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available to purchase. Interested in having your business participate with a trunk or treat golf cart? Please contact the Community and Recreation Center at 520-544-1900 option 3 or register at PlayOV.com by visiting this link.

Due to limited parking at the Community Center, the Town is asking visitors to park at the Oro Valley Town Hall parking lot (11000 North La Cañada Drive) and walk over to the event. For added safety measures, the intersection light at La Cañada Drive and the Community Center will be set to blinking red to allow Oro Valley Police to direct pedestrians and traffic. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to use caution and follow traffic commands from OVPD during the event. Please see the attached, which shows the walking route from Town Hall to the event location.
