Artist Statement - Laura Hackenbrock
Laura is a photographer living in Oro Valley, AZ. She has many varied areas of interest within her hobby, and she sees the world through the camera lens. She is especially interested in macro photography and anything Arizona. Laura has been taking photographs for over 45 years. However, she became serious about making photographic art after moving to Tucson in 2005. She enjoys working with other photographers through classes, workshops and judging local photography contests
Laura grew up in New York, Baltimore, North Carolina and Dallas, TX. She also spent 15 years in Atlanta, GA. Laura’s education is in Mathematics, and she taught Math before moving to Arizona.
