Round Up at the Ranch 5K Run/Walk on June 19

If you’re looking for a fun opportunity to get moving while supporting a great cause, join the Town of Oro Valley on Sunday, June 19 for the seventh annual Round Up at the Ranch 5K Run/Walk. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Town’s Rounds Up For Youth Recreation Scholarship Program, which makes fee-based recreation programs accessible to Oro Valley youth who reside in financially constrained households.

Runners, walkers and strollers of all ages are welcome to participate in this fun 5K that begins at historic Steam Pump Ranch (10901 N. Oracle Road), heads east along the multi-use path to Catalina State Park and returns back to the Ranch. The race begins at 6 a.m. and includes snacks, water and a water balloon toss. Prizes will be awarded to the overall male and female winners, as well as five-year age groups.

Registration is $25 in advance (see “Helpful Links” section below) or $30 on race day. Children 12 and under race for free with a paying adult. T-shirts will be provided to all entrants. For those who register in advance, number pickup is on Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fleet Feet Oro Valley (7607 N. Oracle Road #121). Race day registration and number pickup will begin at 4:30 a.m. on June 19.
