• Provide routine and emergency clinical psychological services to Sheriff's Department employees and their immediate families including counseling, consultation, and referral services
• Organize, develop, and serve as clinical advisor to the department Peer Support Program
• Develop, present, and evaluate departmental training, hiring, and practices
• Maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations involved in the delivery of psychological services for first responders
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department takes pride in the mental health services offered to our deputies, corrections officers, staff, and their families. Of her new role, Mrs. Barrette-Mozes had this to say: “I am looking forward to fostering a culture of mutual support for all Department members and their families. I was once a skeptic about the role of mental health providers until I received help after a critical incident in my life. I know its value on a personal and professional level after 30 years in the behavioral health field. I thank the Pima County Sheriff's Department for its warm welcome!”
