The Department of Transportation would like to update every one of our ongoing improvement project along Houghton Road from I-10 to Andrada Polytechnic High School.
We recently shifted traffic to the west side (new southbound lanes) so that we can start constructing the east side (northbound lanes). Although the multi-use path looks ready to use, we are still installing landscaping, waterlines and cleaning up the area. The path will remain closed to all pedestrians and cyclists, until the work is complete. For safety reasons, we ask that you do not use the pathway and to please obey all traffic control signage in the area.
