Ironwood Ridge High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 26.
In their 19th year, IRHS Vanguard proudly hosted their annual "March the Ridge" competition this weekend with 11 bands from around Arizona in attendance.
Ironwood Ridge came in 1st place in the 2A division with special caption awards for the highest scores in music performance, visual performance, general effect, and percussion! Next Saturday, the Vanguard will represent IRHS at the enormous University of Arizona Band Day, where there will be 40 bands total.
