POSITION SUMMARY:
The Oro Valley Police Department (OVPD) is accepting applications for a Crime Scene Technician. Interested applicants are REQUIRED to complete an on-line application which is due by October 14, 2021 at 5:00 pm. Once complete, the applicant will receive an email from Guardian Alliance Technologies within five business days. The email will include a sign-on and instructions on establishing a secure online account. This account will serve the purpose of collecting information and documents required for the personal history questionnaire. The personal history questionnaire must be completed and certified by October 18, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
Qualified applicants will be invited to take the in-person written exam scheduled for November 2, 2021. Applicants that pass the written exam will be invited to the in-person practical exam scheduled for November 3, 2021. Applicants that pass the practical exam will be invited for an oral board interview scheduled for November 4, 2021. The written exam, practical exam, and oral board interview require in-person attendance. There are no exceptions.
