Tucson Unified School District issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.
Mrs. Dulce Balaban from Hollinger K-8 bulldogs was selected as the 2021 Pima County Legendary Teacher Award recipient!
Esmeralda, a former student of Mrs. Balaban, said what she loved most about her former teacher was "that she goes above and beyond to help her students succeed, and when they do, she’s there to cheer them on and never fails to express how proud she is of them.”
