Town of Marana issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.

The Town of Marana will be performing upgrades to the sewer system located at the corner of Clark Farms Blvd and Sandario Rd. As part of this project, a bypass will be required that will slow traffic on Sandario Rd. Work will begin Tuesday, September 28th, and last through Tuesday, October 5th. Traffic will remain open in both directions, but the speed limit will be reduced to 15 MPH at sewer crossing.
For your safety and that of the contractor’s personnel, please comply with traffic control devices, flagging personnel, and/or detour signs.
Travel time through the project area may increase during construction so please adjust your schedule accordingly. Construction may restrict traffic lanes and create congestion. Taking alternate routes is suggested.
If inclement weather or other events cause delays, the work may be rescheduled without further notice.
