Murphy-Wilmot Library recently issued the following announcement.

Date: Tuesday, September 7, 2021

Time: 10:00AM – 5:00PM

Description:

You can get help feeding your family through a new program at the library!

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a Federal program for people who need help getting enough food for their families. The program is meant to supplement what you have, and there is no cost to you. Families, seniors, and individuals are all welcome.

How it works:

  1. People who meet low-income guidelines can receive food bags at the Library.
  2. Come to the library to pick up your bag once a month.

That’s it! No forms, no hassles.
