Pima Animal Care Center issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
Marley and Milo have lived together all of Milo’s life and are definitely besties. They are described as well-behaved, loving, caring, sweet, and they really enjoy soft food.
With their friendly and endearing personalities, these two have quickly become staff and volunteer favorites. They both adore people and get so excited whenever someone shows up to spend time with them. We’ve also discovered they both love soft blankets, snuggling, and think they are lap dogs!
Marley is easy-going, easy to leash up, and easy to handle. She’s an old gal and has difficulty getting up and walking long distances so she’s usually found snoozing the day away. Marley is a big girl (and we do mean BIG!) but it’s due to her hyperthyroidism so no jokes please! She’s tolerant in playgroup with other dogs, but she’s also vulnerable and prefers to spend time by herself or seeks affection from the handlers.
Milo is very sociable and outgoing with his people friends – he can’t get enough affection. He’s one of those guys whose tail never seems to stop wagging. He’s easy to leash up, playful, enjoys going for walks, and has great energy. In playgroup, his interactions with other dogs is awkward; he normally tends to avoid them but he can get tense so he’ll require a dog introduction prior to going home with another dog.
We’d love nothing more than to see these two companions stay together, and adopting pals may actually mean less work than adopting a single pet — they keep each other entertained; they give each other stability and comfort; they adjust more quickly to new situations; and they provide twice the amount of love.
These cuties are available for adoption or foster and no appointment is necessary to meet them. If interested in fostering, please stop by the shelter.
