Chinese ladder bracelet is a fun bracelet

Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Aug. 19.

The Chinese ladder bracelet is a fun  bracelet you can make with many colors and share with friends.  You can use from 3 to 8 strings for this braid, the more you string you use the thicker it will be. Family and friends will enjoy this craft because the color patterns are endless. 

Step 1- Gather supplies. You’ll need  5 strings, scissors, tape and a ruler. 

Step 2– Measure each string to be 14– 18 inches long. During the process the string with reduce in length. 

Step 3– Tie a knot and tape on the end on the surface you will be working on. 

Step 4– Spread the strings apart so they don’t tangle during the braiding. 

 Step 5– You will start with the last string on the right. It will go over all the other strings moving to the left .

Step 6– Then after passing over all the other strings the green string will go under all the other strings and before passing itself , it must go in front of the green string that stay on the right side.

Step 7– Then you will tighten the knot  and push it to  the top.

Step8 and 9 :  Repeat the process until that color is finish or you want to change to another string color.

Step 10– As you can see the image the green string is now last on the left side and the next color you will use is the last one on the right colored purple.

Step 11– 12: We are repeating the steps 6 and 7. Over all the strings , then going under them and finally going in front of its own color string before tying the knot.

Step 13,14 ,15 and 16: Are repeating the steps of 6-7 after each color has was left with a bet of string.

Step 17– 18. Once you have a little bit left from your last string you can tie a knot on that end. Your final product is a awesome bracelet you can wear.
