Artwork Exhibit ~ Anne McGinnis Breen on August 19, 2021

Gallery

Oro Valley Public Library recently issued the following announcement.

Date: Thursday, August 19, 2021

 Description:

My idea for this display is for our library visitors to enjoy my artwork and inspire them to devote more of their time and attention to the natural world.

This retrospective collection of my work demonstrates my lifelong interest in a variety of mediums, methods, colors, textures, and forms. I hope my natural forms will resonate with many people.

I like using colored pencils, charcoal, pen & ink, acrylic and watercolor paints. However, I do not like to repeat many times with the same methods and materials.

Consequently, I did not display an entire body of my work with a recognizable signature style. The famous artist, Henri Matisse, one wrote, “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” And I hope my artwork encourages other people to try new and different methods and art materials.
