Town of Oro Valley issued the following announcement on July 23.
The Town of Oro Valley is seeking self-driven, solution and detail oriented candidates to join the Network Operations team in the Innovation & Technology Department. This position will be primarily focused on public safety systems, connectivity and applications, along with their integration in the broader enterprise.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to use your technical and soft skills to take on challenging projects that will maintain and improve the Town’s public safety systems. This position will interact regularly with customer departments, external agencies and contractors in conveying technical information. The Ideal candidate for this position must be able to communicate courteously and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. The Town of Oro Valley enjoys a modern IT environment that is evolving and growing with the Town’s needs. Prior work as a network administrator or system administrator in a similar role is required. Familiarity or experience with ITIL 4.0, Lean, Agile, DevOps are all a plus. Prior work in public safety is also a plus.
