Pima County health officials intend to help businesses and patrons through the reopening process with the Ready for You program, according to the Pima County's website.
The initiative was born out of the Pima County Board of Supervisors’ May 21 proclamation creating COVID-19 protective measure requirements for eateries and attractions.
Businesses that adhere to the county’s requirements will receive a Ready for You emblem to place on their doors and use in traditional and digital marketing efforts.
Health Department Director Dr. Theresa Cullen said many restaurants and other businesses remain open though the county grapples with a resurgence of positive coronavirus cases therefore it is important the public to know which establishments are taking steps to help curb the spread of the illness.
Businesses that feel they qualify for Ready for You certification may obtain a form here. They will soon speak with a Health Department sanitarian and undergo a visual inspection via videoconferencing.
