City of Oro Valley recently issued the following announcement.
Event Name: 2020 MOVE ACROSS 2 RANGES HIKING CHALLENGE
Date: Saturday, February 29, 2020
Time: 6:00am-6:00pm
Join us for the ninth annual MOVE Across 2 Ranges! This fantastic event begins in the beautiful Tortolita Mountains and concludes in Catalina State Park. We have a challenge for everyone: 6, 10, 15 and 21.5 miles. The event will wrap up with an after party, which will have food (meal tickets included with registration), beverages (beer available for those 21 and older), LOTS of great raffle prizes (Thank you Summit Hut!), Yoga, music and more!
Registration includes a free MOVE t-shirt (if registered before February 14), meal, entrance into Catalina State Park and beverage tickets.
Fee: $40 if registered by January 31 or $50 between February 1 and event day.
Packet Pickup Party: Come enjoy free locally brewed beer, snacks and grab your event packet too! Enjoy this mini-kickoff to a fun day on the trail and skip the line on event day
