At 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, former Catalina Foothills High School standout Kincaid Bergthold and the Stony Brook Seawolves dropped their NCAA Division I baseball game, 11-5, to the Sacred Heart Pioneers.
Veterans Park hosted the matchup, marking the Seawolves’ first meeting with the Pioneers this season.
Bergthold pitched 0.2 innings, giving up two earned runs with two walks and one strikeout.
The Seawolves are set to play next on Friday, April 10, at University Field against the Hofstra Pride.
