Ruben Castro, previously a Pusch Ridge Christian Academy standout, helped lead the Oklahoma Christian Eagles to an 18-4 win over the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas in an NCAA Division II baseball game held Saturday, March 7, at 6 p.m.
McCord Field hosted this contest, marking the third meeting between the Eagles and the Javelinas this season. Earlier Saturday, March 7, the Eagles were edged 4-3 by Texas A&M Kingsville.
Castro tallied three hits in three at-bats, scored three runs, drove in two runs and drew one walk.
The Eagles are scheduled to play again on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at McCord Field, once more facing Texas A&M Kingsville.
