Wes Ball, a former standout at Marana High School who now plays for the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, is set to participate in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The Mavericks enter as the No. 8 seed and will face the top-seeded Dallas Baptist Patriots in their opening matchup.
Their first-round game takes place Saturday, March 14, at 4 p.m. at Kenneth E. Burg Center.
